U.Priyanka is “Water Advanced Research and Innovation (WARI)” intern student in the department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is working under the supervision of Professor Siamak Nejati and Xu Li on the topic membrane fabrication for antimicrobial activity. She is a Research Scholar at National Institute of Karnataka, Surathkal working under the guidance of Professor Rajmohan B on the topic “Fluorescent biological ZnS nanocolloids synthesized from an endophytic fungus Aspergillus flavus for the degradation of organic pollutants based on solar photocatalysis.” She attended summer internship program on “Sensors and Nanotechnology” at TECHNION, Israel in the year 2017, with a travel grant from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), India. In addition she underwent training on “Nanotechnological Basis for Advanced Sensors” further she has participated and presented her research paper in G16 Asian: 5th International Chalcogen Conference organized by UNESCO-IHE and NITK, Suarthkal.
